Bases Loaded is a video game franchise that was developed and published by Jaleco. It is a series of baseball games that were released primarily for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and later for other consoles. The first Bases Loaded game was released in 1987 for the NES, and the last game in the series was Bases Loaded ’96: Double Header, which was released in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The Bases Loaded games were known for their arcade-style gameplay and realistic depiction of baseball. The player could choose to play as one of 12 different teams and could compete against other teams in a variety of different game modes. The game featured a unique batting interface that required the player to time their swing correctly in order to hit the ball.
The Bases Loaded franchise was popular during its time, and many fans of the series still consider it to be one of the best baseball games ever made. The series also spawned a number of sequels, including Bases Loaded II: Second Season, Bases Loaded 3, and Bases Loaded 4.
