The Alto game franchise consists of two games, Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey, both developed by independent studio Snowman.

Alto’s Adventure was released in 2015 for iOS and Android devices. It is an endless runner game set in a snowboarding/skiing theme, where the player controls the titular character as they navigate down a procedurally generated mountain landscape. The game features simple one-touch controls, beautiful graphics and a calming soundtrack, and has been praised for its immersive atmosphere and addictive gameplay.

Alto’s Odyssey was released in 2018 as a sequel to Alto’s Adventure, also for iOS and Android devices. This time the game takes place in a desert landscape and introduces new gameplay elements such as wall-riding and water surfing. The game retains the same one-touch control scheme and similar art style as the first game, but with new challenges and environments.

Both games have been well received by critics and players alike, with praise for their gorgeous visuals, soothing music, and engaging gameplay. The games have also won several awards, including the Apple Design Award in 2015 for Alto’s Adventure.
