list of Advance Wars video gamesThe Advance Wars franchise is a series of turn-based strategy games developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. The franchise began with the release of “Advance Wars” for the Game Boy Advance in 2001.

The games are set in a fictional world where different nations are in conflict with each other. The player takes on the role of a commander and must lead their army to victory by strategizing and deploying units on a battlefield. The gameplay is turn-based, with players taking turns to move their units and attack their opponent’s units.

The franchise has released several games, including “Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising” (2003), “Advance Wars: Dual Strike” (2005), and “Advance Wars: Days of Ruin” (2008). The franchise has received critical acclaim for its deep strategy gameplay, charming characters, and addictive multiplayer modes.

However, there hasn’t been a new Advance Wars game since the release of “Advance Wars: Days of Ruin” in 2008. In 2013, Intelligent Systems released a similar game called “Fire Emblem Awakening” which gained immense popularity and led to the creation of several sequels in the Fire Emblem franchise.
