Game Description
1830: Railroads & Robber Barons is a railroad-themed strategy game, developed by SimTex and published by MicroProse. The game is set in the northeastern United States and southern Canada during the 19th century. Players take on the role of wealthy capitalists who invest in and manage railroad companies, build track, stations, and compete to gain control of the most profitable routes. The game combines resource management, strategy, and financial elements and provides a detailed, historically accurate simulation of the railroad industry of the time.
